All players want to feel that they are ready to play their best tennis after the warm-up. The mistake they make is in their approach to how they should warm-up, the warm-up session is supposed to help you get your strokes grooved. When you begin to warm-up you should not be trying to hit your shots at 100% of your power. Instead warm-up your shots gradually. Work on trying to get your legs moving as efficiently as possible. Think "Fast Feet Slow Racquet" When your legs begin to feel looser and your stroke becomes more fluid you then increase the speed of your swing. The player who hits 100% in the warm-up is usually the one who hits at 50% during the match. He punishes the ball in warm-up but pushes it during the match. These players are usually not able to maximize their playing potential.
