LaSalle Camp - August 2 - 7, 2010 This week's camp will focus on the skills, strategies, and physical requirements needed to compete sucessfully in high school. Participants will learn to become players, not just hitters. Players will learn the difference between offensive and defensive styles of play, the importance of consistency, how to build a game plan, how to recognize opponent’s weaknesses, how to play doubles, the mental aspect of the game, and other important facets of the game.
Age Group High school players and advanced juniors 12 - 17 years old.
Players will also spend considerable time participating in match play drills. These drills will teach them how to execute proper game strategies that will enable them to become better competitors. Players will participate in actual singles and doubles matches. On court coaching will be provided to the players to help them improve their match strategies.
