This clinic will introduce the player to all the basic fundamentals of the game. Players will be taught how to hit the 4 basic strokes which include the forehand, backhand, serve, and volley. Players will also be taught the proper grip to use, the difference in the various racquets sold, the rules of the game, proper positioning on the court, and other important aspects of the game. There will be time for some actual play once the students have achieved some consistency with their strokes.
Players will be given instruction to assist them in the development of consistent strokes. Drills will be used to allow the players to practice the techniques that they are being taught. Each clinic will provide some time for doubles and/or singles play. The goal of this clinic is to help intermediate players improve the aspects of their game that holds them back from playing with more advanced players.
