High School & Advanced Junior Players 

Goal of the League

To provide juniors the opportunity to play some competitive tennis matches in a casual environment. George will attempt to make the matches challenging to all participants.

Participation in the league is subject to the approval of George Haley. The purpose of this is to insure competitive league matches for all participants. George was formerly a USTA/ NTRP verifier. Consult the Junior NTRP player guidelines (flyer on bulletin board) for an understanding of your youngster’s playing level.

League Format

Players will compete in 1 1/2 hour singles matches.

League Play Dates                              

 October 18, 2009 - First week of matches.  

   
The League will not operate during some vacation and holiday periods.                                                                                 

• High School/Advance Jr. League $137.50 for 5  1-1/2  hr. matches.  Tennis balls are provided for matches.
• Players must play a minimum of 5 matches.
• Players do not have to participate each week. On Tuesdays or Wednesdays,players will receive an email asking if they would like a match the following Sunday.  Only players who respond to this message by Thursday evening will be scheduled for Sunday.  The email will notify them of the time of their match and the court to be used. 
• The player should then confirm his/her match by emailing back to me "I'll be there."
• Players should check in at the front desk at least 10 minutes prior to their match.
• The score must be given to George after the match along with the used balls.
• No refunds or make-ups except for cancellations by League Director

   

Late Cancellations / No Shows

Please be considerate and avoid waiting until the last minute to call saying that you cannot play. Sometimes, I cannot find a sub at the last moment. Occasionally, I am unable to reach your opponent before he/she arrives at the club. Please render to others the consideration that you expect yourself. Players who notify me after after matches have been scheduled on my web site will forfeit one week of play. Players who fail to show for a scheduled match or cancel after 11AM on the Saturday before Sunday's match will forfeit two weeks of play and must pay $35.00 to cover the cost of their match.

Match Results

Please post your match results on the official scorecard before leaving Centre Court. It is important to record the match results because this information is used to help schedule competitive matches.
