5/15/11 - La Salle Def. Wheeler 6-1
La Salle played one of their best matches of the season posting at 6-1 victory over Wheeler. Marco Amendola defeated Larry Chan in straight sets. This was Marco's best victory of the season. Nate Ray won a hard fought battle in straight sets over Jeff Gagnon. The La Salle doubles teams continued to click off the wins. They have contributed heavily to all the La Salle wins this season.
5/12/11 - La Salle Def. Cumberland 5-2
La Salle played a great match in revenging it's loss against Cumberland in it's first meeting this spring.
Marco Amendola, Chris Stabile, and Nathan Ray all scored straight set wins. Doubles #1 and #2 played inspired tennis to secure the other two Ram points.
5/11/11 - La Salle Def. Westerly 6-1
La Salle doubles again rose to the occasion and won all three matches. Jackson Reilly posted a great comeback win despite not feeling well. Nate Ray gave a super effort but came up short against Sam Travers 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. Chris Stabile and Marco Amendola posted straight set wins.
5/10/11 - La Salle Def. Mt. St. Charles 7-0
Mount was no contest for the superior rams who only lost 10 games over the entire match
5/9/11 - La Salle Def. Wheeler 5-2
Nate Ray came back after losing the first set to defeat Jeff Gagnon 6-7, 6-4, 6-1. Chris Stabile played excellent tennis in defeating Adam Marcovitz in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. All the doubles teams posted straight set wins.
5/3/11 - Bishop Hendricken Def. La Salle 5-2
The Rams did not play particularly well in this match, especially the singles players. All the doubles matches were competitive with LSA winning #1, & #2 doubles and losing in a tie-breaker at #3 doubles.
5/2/11 - Barrington Def. La Salle 6-1
Tyler McCourt and Will Norton-Bliss LSA #3 won in a third set tie-breaker. Marco Amendola gave Eric Pierce a great match losing in three sets 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.
4/29/11 - La Salle Def. No. Kingstown 5-2
La Salle's singles players all played great tennis. Marco Amendola and Chris Stabile had to go to 3 sets to secure their victories while Jackson Reilly and Nate Ray won in straight sets. Andrew Dunn and Curtis Dyer played a very competitive match at #1 doubles and won in three sets 6-2, 6-7, 6-2
4/26/11 - South Kingstown Def. La Salle 6-1
The highlight of this match was the great win by Dennis Lutskiy and Jonathan Boyarsky. They defeated the #2 SK team with a comback win of 2-6, 6-4, 7-6. Chris Stabile also played a great match at #4 singles. He lost in three very competitive sets 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.
4/21/11 - La Salle Def. Toll Gate 7-0
The Rams only lost 1 game in this entire match. This is Toll Gate's 1st. year in Division 1 and they are in the process of rebuilding their team.
4/20/11 - Cumberland def. La Salle 4-3
This match was a difficult one for the Rams to lose. The Rams held a 3-1 lead and unfortunately lost the last three matches. Each one of those matches were 3 setters. A tremendous effort was given by every La Salle player, especially Nathan Ray and Dennis Lutskiy who played with injuries
4/15/11 - La Salle Def. Lincoln High 7-0
The Rams played excellent tennis to secure this win. Jackson Reilly lost his first set 2-6 but came back and won the next two sets with gritty play. Marco Amendola won in straight sets but had to win two tie breakers. Nathan Ray and Chris Stabile continued their fine play winning easily in straight sets. All three doubles teams played excellent doubles and showed improvement in attacking and playing the net.
4/11/11 - La Salle Def. Mt. St. Charles 7-0
Although the score seems convincing, La Salle played only fair to good tennis. There were numerous unforced errors and the team played very tenative.
4/6/11 - La Salle Def. Smithfield 5-2
The Rams opened their season with a convincing 5-2 win over Smithfield. Nathan Ray gave the Rams the deciding point with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Ben Kuhar. Chris Stabile playing in his first varsity match had a straight set win over Eric Ricciardi. La Salle swept the doubles with outstanding performances from all the LSA players.
